Overall Satisfaction with Progress Sitefinity
It is being used across our entire organization. We have primarily implemented new sites for fundraising and donations required to help improve patient care through out our organization. Previously some of our foundations did not have a web presence making it hard to reach a target audience and meet their objectives.
- Great Customization.
- Simple Installation.
- Great Vendor Relationship.
- Strong Community.
- Great ability for development sites.
- User webui is not that friendly.
- Need customization. Out of the box won't cut it.
- Better end-user training and documentation.
- Easy installation making no need for additional resources.
- End user adoption has been challenging requiring some additional IT Support.
- Compared to other vendors cost is great.
The price compared to the other products was a real driver in the decision making. Even though you can use it as is, it comes with the templates and role based access, and the customization required was less than what was needed on the other platforms. Had better response from Progress then other vendors.
