Overall Satisfaction with Projectplace

We use Projectplace for managing all of our projects, up until recently when we've switched from using Projectplace to handle our NBD process & pipeline to using Salesforce. We still use Projectplace for other projects.

I like it for project management - the Gantt charts are nice and it's a good way to keep conversations and documents related to a project in one place. I've always liked using a Kanban format for these things as well. My only suggestion for improvement is related to the checklists feature for cards. It would be great if you could add more than one checklist to a card, and label each checklist as you can with Trello. I would also like the ability to assign checklists to individuals and set due dates for checklist items.
  • Tracking work throughout the life of the project with Gantt charts.
  • Easy to add and set up cards.
  • Option to add lots of detail without being too complex.
  • Would be nice to be able to add multiple checklists on a card.
  • The ability to assign checklists to individuals would be great.
  • Adding a due date/notifications to checklist items and checklists would be nice.

I wasn't the decision maker.
It seems to be suited to managing and tracking progress on larger-scale projects. Features designed around nitty gritty of tasks to be completed and actually assigning these to people are absent.
