Overall Satisfaction with Proofpoint Email Protection
We use Proofpoint email protection to filter all inbound and outbound email for the corporation worldwide. As opposed to our previous mail filter solution, Proofpoint is able to stop all malware, viruses, and nearly all spam. Additionally, we heavily use the impostor detection feature. Our executives are very commonly impersonated in an attempt to gain gift cards or other goods. Proofpoint has been able to drastically reduce these attacks.

Proofpoint was able to match or beat every feature of all competitors and used our own real data to prove their effectiveness. We placed ProofPoint behind our existing email gateway to detect what they were missing, and we were shocked. Our old vendor was allowing live viruses, malware, phishing, spam, and all other unwanted mail through. Proofpoint was able to detect these—even with the disadvantage of being the second in line for mail flow. That's what truly sold me on the product.
