Overall Satisfaction with Proofpoint Email Protection
We are using Proofpoint currently for email security (TAP) and this is for our global level implementation.
- Very strong and good at identifying threats
- Very good to block the unwanted and new phishing attacks along with Spam and Malware attacks
- Very strong and cooperative support from Proofpoint
- Very good experience with Proofpoint support - always very fast and immediate assistance
- Maybe need to be stronger at capturing the URL and attachment defences before we report attacks.
- I do agree no product will be able to block all sorts of new malware/phishing attacks, however Proofpoint could be more proactive rather than reactive.
- Maybe more options for search queries and for easier administration. I am good with the config, consoles etc. But I could see people getting confused with the few options and consoles we have. They may feel like it is a bit complicated.
- Proofpoint has definitely shown us a very good impact on the business as well as admins.
- We are in a kind of financial related business too and it is very hard to identify and block the spoofing and phishing attacks. But with Proofpoint, we are good in controlling them at least.
- May be we can't always expect 100% results, but again and it does the job in a great manner.
We have used EOP (Exchange Online Protection) in the past and we also had a POC with Proofpoint which we were excited to use and the results were positive.
Before Proofpoint, we had many issues with imposters and TAP issues with EOP, which have been improved with Proofpoint. We were having hard time to getting EOP (Microsoft) to proactively block any of the known threats and until we reported them EOP was unable to stop them and our experience was always reactive.
