Overall Satisfaction with Prophix
We use Prophix for budgeting and financial reporting. It is primarily used by the Accounting Department at the corporate level.
Pros
- Budgeting within Prophix is easy. It allows you to make macro changes across the board for wages, health insurance, etc.
Cons
- Depending on how your import process is set up, it can take some time to import the data from your ERP package to Prophix.
- Prophix has helped us develop better reports faster and easier.
GP did not have a viable budgeting solution for our company. That was our first reason for looking for something else.
