Overall Satisfaction with Qlik Sense

Many depts are using Qlik Sense to address reporting needs. It will be used across the whole organization. There will be more using areas include visualization, analytics, data collection and sharing. Information are centralized and shared with the group. It's easy to generate good quality reports and produce good results to the audience.

Pros

  • On-premise server.
  • Associative engine.
  • Web-based.
  • Modern looks.
  • Free extensions.

Cons

  • Fancy 3D charts.
  • Extension store.
Power BI is only powerful when used in Cloud. Power BI's on premise version is a big problem. Besides, Power BI doesn't have the associate engine. Power BI has many AI functions, but we don't need those functions so much. Tableau is similar to Qlik Sense. But Tableau is not as flexible as Qlik Sense. Again, Tableau doesn't have associate engine.
Dashboard and visualization are well suited. Qlik Sense makes it easier for users to explore the data, to play with the data.
Single User is less appropriate. Qlik Sense is more for enterprise, not for individual users. Qlik Sense is not the most fancy BI tool in the market. But it does suit for a lot of practical needs.
