Qlik is the best for easy dashboarding, but use something else for formatted grid/excel reports

Software Version
Qlik Sense Enterprise
Overall Satisfaction with Qlik Sense
We use Qlik Sense for all dashboard needs in all departments. It helps to get a visual overview of the data available.
Adjust accuracy, take faster decisions, make data available to more people, faster.

- Color coding data inside filters helps to think outside the frame.
- Easy interface to learn for data readers.
- Easy to connect to many data sources.
- Not easy to create advanced formatting.
- Do not have free built-in data lineage tool.
- Nothing to handle multi-languages and translations.
- Savings on warehouse capacity.
- Lowering bad inventory.
- Data accuracy improvement.
We use the option to read Google Sheets and other external tools, but most of the data sources are combined in our data warehouse beforehand.
The natural language and AI do not work well for our data set. We have many branches using different currencies, UOM, etc... and it seems too complex to use this part. Self-serve is not easy because of advanced scripting required. Most of our applications are used in a basic browsing/filtering way.
We do not now use this advisor suggestions. We would need to develop datamarts for it and we do not have the time for that.
