I currently use Qualtrics for my own research for special projects. I've most recently used it as a survey to investigate internal process issues and attain raw data for elements that I do not have data for, since they are not being measured.

Pros

  • Qualtrics allows for surveys to be designed to be interactive.
  • Qualtrics has designs for different types of measurements.
  • Qualtrics delivers results of the surveys in an organized fashion.

Cons

  • It would be useful to have additional ways to measure results against each other.
  • Qualtrics has allowed me to show upper management that there are issues within the department that need to be addressed. I was able to show an approximate cost, affects of the issues, and propose solutions.

Qualtrics has great ways to deliver a question and receive responses in various way to better analyze the data for my needs.
Not only is Qualtrics useful, but it is fun to work with. Currently, I have less need for survey building, which is the only reason why I would be less likely to renew.
Qualtrics is great for qualitative and quantitative investigations. The Qualtrics user should have good understanding of how to write surveys questions to achieve accurate and proper data results.
