Overall Satisfaction with QuickBase

Genentech uses Quickbase in spots across the company. In our department, we use it to track projects to see how talent is being utilized and if anyone has too much work or too little. We also used it (since retired) to track projects between us and our vendors. In the past, we have also utilized it as a problem ticket tracking system.
  • Easy to add and manage users
  • Powerful database once you understand it how it works
  • User interface
  • Easier design
We have achieved this benefit but are evaluating simpler options such as Smartsheet.
I was not involved in this process. I selected Smartsheet as its replacement.
We have no time to build on our own and instead select vendors to implement it for us. Working with a good vendor however, would be easy.
  • Improving our ability to drive insights from our data
  • Improving collaboration across one or more teams
I'd need a higher level understanding of how the various parts of the system work.
