Overall Satisfaction with QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions
I use QuickBooks for the North Texas Society for Human Resource Management not for profit business organization. I basically used QuickBooks as a check register for expenses and bank reconciliation. The group does a monthly luncheon, an annual two day conference, a day legal update and hosts round table discussions as requested.
- Bank Reconciliation process
- Financial Report options and drilling down to the detail. Love Love the drill down capabilities.
- The ability to make corrections while in different areas of the software
- The ability to change transactions without an audit trail.
- The ability to close a month and prohibit changes prior and after certain dates
- Budget implementation by month
- The cost of QuickBooks allow our not for profit to spend more of our dollars on direct cost fulfilling our mission
- The ease of use for QuickBooks allows non financial people to financially run their business which again allows company resources to be spent on direct services toward fulfilling this mission.
- Lack of Audit trail could hurt a business if they are unfamiliar with internal control processes
- A lot of non financial people use QuickBooks which is good to allow more resources on direct costs but bad because non financial people are not as familiar with internal controls
