Overall Satisfaction with QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions
The finance team currently uses QuickBooks as a general ledger for our financial reporting needs. The invoicing and expense process are performed outside of QuickBooks (with Beanworks and Expensify) and are manually re-keyed into QuickBooks along with grant information that is housed in Salesforce. The organization is currently looking to switch to a financial system built on the Salesforce platform and one which could potentially perform invoicing and expense approval processes within the system.
- The look (visually pleasing) and it is easy to understand
- It is easy to undo entries or things if there is a mistake
- Multiple profiles needed (vendor, employee, customer)
- Dimensions are limited
- Character limits on certain things (vendor names, chart of accounts names)
- No audit trail (who entered what in QuickBooks and when)
- Connectivity to platforms such as Salesforce
- invoice and expense processing
- Budgets vs. actuals vs. forecast reporting
We are actually moving away from QuickBooks and trying SAGE Live and or Financial Force.
