Overall Satisfaction with Read&Write

Our FE College has students from all walks of life and with very diverse learning needs. We serve a large community and offer many different types of qualifications. Read&Write is indispensable for many of our students with additional learning needs.

Pros

  • ColourVeil.
  • Dictionary builder.
  • Read aloud.

Cons

  • The toolbar isn't always intuitive.
  • Some training materials on the website are out of date.
  • All-in-one solution for many additional learning needs.
This is such a quick and easy solution—it means individual teachers don't need to train students on different software. We also love the browser extension, which is available for home use.
We've tried products with similar features but no others with the sheer range of features available in a single product.

It is excellent for when students are doing their own work. However, the need to use headphones means it is not always appropriate to use them in class.
