Overall Satisfaction with Read&Write
I use Read&Write to demonstrate to my students I work with, in disability services. Read&Write helps students who need a reader but does better with a computer reading or if they become too anxious if there is a person physically in the room with them. We also open Read&Write up to all students to use (regular feature) to use at home or on campus.
Pros
- Reading exactly what the student needs
- Reads the whole screen for students with visual disabilities
- Has other study tools that can be used
Cons
- A cheat sheet for those who do not want to sit and watch videos
- Tutorials on the Read&Write bar, just in case someone forgets how something works.
- We have not measured this, but many of my students have a hard time using the system at times, so we do not have many students using it.
- In the last two years, I have had more students use the system, but I am unsure how many continue to use it.
It has not.
