Overall Satisfaction with Remote Desktop Manager
We use RDM for every engineer that needs access to our customers infrastructure. We use it for Servers, network equiment, VPNs, SSH, and also for our Content Management Database (CMDB) All the managed CI's should be in RDM.
We connect RDM to Pleasant Password Server for seamless integration with our password vault. This saves up lots of time trying to find the right password for each customer.

Pros
- Loads of integrations possible
- Different Connections possible (ie: RDP, SSH, HTTP(s) etc)
- Steppingstone capabilities.
- VPN integration
- Secure!
Cons
- I dont know, i'm pretty used to it for +-10 yrs.. Maybe responsiveness with the database could be improved
- Support was oke when we needed it, but could have been quicker in response and availability
- Time saving application in terms of using the traditional apps
- Integration with password vaults is a game-changer
- The variety in types of connections is huge! Haven't been able to detect a device or connection that couldn't be integrated yet..
VisionApp is not in the list. This is the application we used before we got introduced to RDM. VisionApp was great but it did not have the same features as RDM did. Perhaps VisionApp has had some updates but we haven't found any reason to switch applications again.
