Overall Satisfaction with Renaissance Star 360

Renaissance Star 360 is a complete mathematical and reading program that is used district-wide. We use the data that it provides to help steer assessment, to document student growth, and to guide instruction. With the program being aligned to the Oklahoma Academic Standards, we are able to document our coverage of the standard material. GREAT TOOL!

Pros

  • Renaissance Star 360 encompasses all the new Oklahoma Academic Standards which is helpful in documenting the requirements.
  • Renaissance Star 360 allows for immediate data and feedback on where the teacher should start with intervention techniques and strategies.
  • It illustrates a student's growth pattern for the teacher, administration, and parents. It takes away the guessing game of where a child is performing.
  • It is a great tool for individualized instruction.

Cons

  • There is a lot of data to filter through.
  • The online reports could be combined.
  • It is a great tool for individualized instruction. I would like to keep the AM tho.
  • Our test scores have increased dramatically.

Renaissance and its constant looping is a better program than Study Island. I am so sad to lose the AM version next year tho.I just don't forsee a program that can mirror what benefits Renaissance Star 360 offers currently.
The entire support team with all Renaissance programs is top notch!!!!!!!!!! It is a great tool for individualized instruction. Their staff is very knowledgeable!

I do great with learning computer programs. I can see where someone may need some help throughout the first year of using it with fidelity. It is a great tool for individualized instruction.

Relationship with Renaissance Learning

Renaissance is always willing to help out in any way. We literally can call them and get immediate help.
Perfect. They have enough staff that when you have a question, you call and get immediate assistance.
They allowed us to specifically identify our needs and develop a program that met those needs.
Just to not be afraid to call them all the time. They seriously want you to if you need anything.
