Overall Satisfaction with Ridder iQ

I use Ridder iQ mainly to write custom software, using the Ridder SDK. For me the Ridder IQ and the Ridder SDK are a good way to make our bussiness more productive.

Dutch Translation: Ik gebruik Ridder iQ voornamelijk om software op maat te schrijven, met behulp van de Ridder SDK. Voor mij zijn Ridder IQ en de Ridder SDK een goede manier om ons bedrijf productiever te maken.

Pros

Cons

  • The start of using Ridder iQ is hard, it's mainly fields and tables, but not a clear process feeling
  • Changing menu's is very confusing, starting with right click on one of the 2 menu bars.
  • Het begin van het gebruik van Ridder iQ is lastig, het zijn vooral velden en tabellen, maar geen duidelijk procesgevoel
  • Het wijzigen van menu's is erg verwarrend, te beginnen met het rechtsklikken op één van de twee menubalken.
  • So much work is automated
  • Er is zoveel werk geautomatiseerd
I'm happy using it now, but sometimes it's hard or confusing changing something.

Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft Visual Studio Code, SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
Usefull for medium and big production environments, mainly when there's a softwaredevelopment team. It's to big and hard to learn for a small company and less suitable for tradingcompany's.

Dutch Translation: Nuttig voor middelgrote en grote productieomgevingen, vooral wanneer er een softwareontwikkelteam is. Het is te groot en moeilijk te leren voor een klein bedrijf, en minder geschikt voor handelsbedrijven.
