Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
Used by Finance only for bookkeeping and reporting.
Pros
- Customizability on reports.
Cons
- I have an ongoing case with support community to get billing dates on the invoice. It seems to be a basic requirement for invoicing but missing the function. The responses I have received have not been helpful and often require re-vamping our current process or including very manual steps.
- The new AR payment application rollout is less intuitive than the previous version. Before all invoices and credits are displayed for selection. The new one requires extra steps to add the items and then apply payment. Adding unnecessary steps without adding value to the function.
- The UX of the dashboard seem more complex than necessary, and therefore not used by very many users on the team.
- Customer dissatisfaction. Billing period not being listed on the invoice (it takes the full subscription period) led to a lot of unhappy customers complaining about the "error" on our billing.
