Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Intacct as an ERP. We issue invoices and track inventory daily. The scope of our case is that the system is that the customisation of the system is very limited. In my opinion, the manufacturing ability of the product is also very limited and does not correspond or live up to the expectations that the sales person said the product can do when it was demonstrated to us.

Return on Investment

Negative Impact, it appears as if the system is not really suited for our industry and is effecting our daily business.

Sage Intacct Configuration

I think the training material is extremely limited and there are a lot of negatives. We cannot for example configure our customer statement run to include running balances on the statements. We further for example sell and purchase certain items at specific lengths as items. I can send an updated list of all the items that we have marked as "parked" where we were informed by our Intacct consultants that sage is not currently able to do it.

Likelihood to Recommend

It is less than appropriate when used in a manufacturing environment. Perhaps consider adding an MRP system. It also needs to improve its training material, as the training material available is very basic and does not cater for more advanced scenarios. In my opinion, the stock valuation is also incorrect based on our take on values that were incorrect - Intacct is posting the average costing values at values that we cannot determine with certainty.
