Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

My organization uses Sage Intacct as its main Accounting and Finance software. This includes Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. We switched from another financial software last year due to its slowness and unpredictability. Since moving over to Sage Intacct, our financial operations have become more accurate and seamless. The reporting feature has also given more visibility and the ability to investigate when an issue arises.

Pros

  • The ability to build out custom reports is extremely beneficial and helps drill down into issues.
  • The ability to have unlimited users is essential in our business and is another reason why we switched.
  • We are able to quickly train individuals in the software due to the ease of use.
  • Integration with other systems.

Cons

  • There aren't any mileage tracking features.
  • Limited customer support - it all seems mostly online.
  • I can see possible security issues with it being a cloud-based platform.
  • My personal productivity has increased 10-15% due to the quickness of the software.
  • The complex issues of our company are resolved in a more efficient manner, roughly a quarter of the time.
  • Since we started using Sage Intacct, our profitability has increased and we are able to process more requests.
We are currently in the process of exploring automation on both the accounts payable and the accounts receivable side. There is a concern that our third party app may have issues when it comes to setting this up, but we understand that the benefits of financial automation would allow us to grow profit wise while not having to keep hiring new people.
Sage Intacct was able to help the leadership team get the system set up with no issues. Then the leadership team was able to help the rest of the users in the office with setting up our user accounts and configuring them for ease of use.

Would you buy Sage Intacct again?

Yes

Sage Intacct is well suited for processing purchase orders and receiving invoices, both for labor and material in our construction business. We also have several different companies that we operate, and it is very easy to switch between them in Sage Intacct and they are clearly able to be distinguished from one another. I'm not aware of situations where it is less appropriate. However, unless you customize your settings, there could be the potential for hindering workflow efficiency.
