Overall Satisfaction with Sage People

Worldwide uses Sage People across the entire global workforce. We have two business units, and operate in over 30 countries and manage all on Sage People. We use it as our holistic HR enterprise system, which includes Recruit, Data Management, Performance Management, Compensation and Benefits, Merit and Bonus Planning, Manager and Employee Self-Service, and On+Off Boarding.

This system allows us to have a system of truth, global processes, and enterprise-wide HR data and reports.
  • Sage is highly flexible and configurable, allowing us to manage the variety of geographies and functional units in one platform.
  • Sage is highly customer focused, with great CSM support.
  • Sage People will be able to integrate with other Sage pillars such as Accounting and Payroll.
  • Sage Support is sometimes tricky, as the system is so configurable that each client's setup is unique.
  • Sage is so configurable that at times it is a challenge to make use of all the functionality.
  • Sage US Benefits functionality is progressing now that the company is building out the US based resources - CSM, Support, and Systems.
  • Has significantly improved our team resources by having one system and set of processes, rather than managing duplicate entry in multiple systems
  • Has allowed us to finally have a process for ensuring we can approve, manage, track and report employee PTO liability in one system
  • Improved HR Data reporting and Data Analytics for both HR and for managers, so that we can make better people and business decisions
  • Better manager and employee experiences by eliminating paper based request forms and automating workflows
Sage was a better fit for us for two reasons. One is that SuccessFactors seemed geared toward larger, more structured companies rather than to mid-size companies. The second reason is that from an Implementation standpoint, Sage has their own team while SuccessFactors uses third-party vendors. We felt that Sage would be more invested with us and a better partner in our success.
Sage is great for global, mid-size companies. It's also ideal if you have a good handle on your company's practices and policies, so that configuration of PTO and processes are seamless.

It might be a challenge for larger companies, and for companies that are US based only.
