Overall Satisfaction with Samanage
Samanage is the organization's main IT helpdesk and service catalog. It was adopted to improve the service for the organization's users, to automate workflows and to provide better metrics for IT. Furthermore, Samanage being cloud-based means no on-premise maintenance or investment required. We required a helpdesk software that did not require an upfront capital investment, was fast to learn and implement.
Pros
- Very user friendly interface

- The service catalog is very useful and allows us to automate a lot of services we provide.
Cons
- It would be great if there were more integrations
- We would prefer if we could customize the landing page for our users
- Samanage has enabled us to run IT support more efficiently, and resolve issues for our users in a timely manner. Reducing wasted person-hours for the majority of the organization's employees.
- Samanage has also reduced the necessary steps for ordering services, through the service catalog, reducing the support hours spent.
- Ivanti IT Asset Management Suite (formerly LANDESK IT Asset Management Suite)
We selected Samanage due to the lack of complexity implementing it, making it perfect for an IT shop requiring it's first IT helpdesk system. The other systems considered were all too complex and not nearly as user-friendly to administer. With Samanage we were able to get a system that was simple to use but still had powerful functionality.
