Overall Satisfaction with SAP Analytics Cloud

We are using SAC for analytics and for predictions of financial and client data.

Pros

  • Smart insights.
  • Smart predict.

Cons

  • Not all features are available for a live connection.
  • Hard to use securely when connecting to outside applications.
The smart insight and smart discovery features were a big seller in addition to the predictive scenarios. In addition to that, the fact that users can write their own stories and build their own PPTs is great.
SAC connects well to SAP applications but it has been harder to connect to other databases such as SQL.
SAP HANA, SAP BPC (Business Planning and Consolidation)
SAP Analytics Cloud is well suited for any business user who wants to build their own stories.
