Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Planning and Management Reporting. It enables us to perform integrated planning and set drivers used for both plan and actual management accounting, and reporting.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Driver Setting, including automation and dis-aggregation across multiple dimensions.
It's improved user experiences for planning users.
Dashboards, calculations, and allocation to enable the useful presentation of KPI's and metrics used in business decision making. They also provide for automated integration of plan versions and actual results.

Cons

The data connectivity needs work. We have had to use a complex BPC solution as middleware to integrate with Profitability and Performance management. There's still no direct integration with BW/4 HANA and PAPM.
More flexibility in setting drivers and dis-aggregating data.
Pricing.

Data Integration

It's difficult to connect to data sources. Roadmaps are promising delivery, but it can be challenging right now.

Collaboration and Sharing

They have good features to share data across teams and build reports and dashboards for multiple use cases.

Other Software Used

SAP Profitability and Performance Management, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW/4HANA

Likelihood to Recommend

It's very good for basic profitability, and spend planning. It's less well suited for detailed calculation and allocations for planning and actual data.
