Overall Satisfaction with SAP Analytics Cloud

It is used within our real-estate management department to control and optimize all real-estate related processes.

Pros

  • Collaboration on reports/storyboards.
  • Easy ramp-up and usability.
  • Live connection feature.

Cons

  • Focus on reporting/dashboarding.
  • Control performance (access) to your on-premise systems if you use the live connection feature.
  • Better implementation of user provisioning.
We chose it for the live connection feature, cloud solution approach, and live connection feature, as well as collaboration within storyboards (commenting, etc.)
Live connection to other sources is just applicable by using external connectors.
Commenting is a very useful feature.
Collaboration within storyboards. It's not appropriate for pixel-perfect reports.
