In addition to the data flow from cloud application, it also supports data sources from local files such as CSVs and also live connections from servers. Cloud apps integrated with third-party ones are rather limited and it works best with other SAP products. The initial process is time-consuming. At first, it requires set up so that it knows which data to pull from the source.

Once the insights are generated and filtered down to the required instance it can be shared instantaneously within the organization given that the user to whom the report is shared already has access to the particular domain, this secures us from sharing the data with users out of the security scope.

We had been using the tool dominantly for managing resources and marketing purposes. With resource management, it effectively collects the data from process workflows and recommends use case probabilities during recruitment based on current and forecast data. Similarly, with marketing, it recommends use case probabilities within our campaigns, but it does not take into account the data interaction from the customer. As a result, we have had to use an additional third party tool along with the insights from SAP Analytics Cloud.
