Overall Satisfaction with SAP Analytics Cloud

With the help of SAP Analytics Cloud, we were able to digitalize the way our organization works. By pulling business data from various sources of our company the tool helped us visualize that information using a number of dashboards. These dashboards were used by various stakeholders to estimate and forecast the resources and the scale of marketing we would need.
  • It collects from various data sources without requiring any major changes to the environment.
  • It has an intelligent processing algorithm with which usable insights are being generated.
  • They offer a 90-day free trial (although with restrictions) that can be used to decide if it meets your requirements.
  • Ability to run multiple BI modelers in parallel would have been very useful.
  • Support for mobile devices is missing. At Least a lite web version would have been appreciated.
  • Complex queries are required to filter down the insights, thus always requiring the help of a skilled IT staff.
We had been using the tool dominantly for managing resources and marketing purposes. With resource management, it effectively collects the data from process workflows and recommends use case probabilities during recruitment based on current and forecast data. Similarly, with marketing, it recommends use case probabilities within our campaigns, but it does not take into account the data interaction from the customer. As a result, we have had to use an additional third party tool along with the insights from SAP Analytics Cloud.
