Overall Satisfaction with SAP Analytics Cloud

We ise SAP Analytics cloud is primary tool for reporting in our organisation. We capture multiple reports using this tool.
We use excel add-in fornthe same. It gives us feel of excel and at the same time it provides real time data.
This product helps us capture real tine data from source. We use this tool for actuals and budget data comparisons. Also, we use smart analytics features for data analysis.
We have also deployed dashboard using SAP analytics cloud. We present this Dashboard during our board meeting.

  • Dat input functionality can he improved
  • Integration with SAP ERP is smoother compared to other BI tools we tried.
  • Visualization options are pretty good, charts look modern.
  • Planning features are handy, though we are still not using them fully.
  • Performance sometimes lags if the dataset is heavy.

We mostly use it for sales dashboards, finance reporting and some HR headcount analysis. The self-service feature is useful but in reality only a few power users end up using it. For senior management, the pre-built dashboards are the main win because they can just open and see numbers in one place.
