Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I have been a user of SAP analytics cloud for more than a year. We have been using this tool mainly for enterprise-wide reporting of Analytical solutions to various financial problems posed by the business and also use the tool for pattern recognition and other critical operations. Pros: The UI is excellent and intuitive. It makes it easy for report development and analysis and the connectivity is there to a wide range of SAP data sources. The ease of operation is high and it provides multiple inbuilt functions to make it easy for report development. The measures or facts can be modified a lot to create custom measures which are the requirement of today's ad-hoc reports. The speed of connectivity and pre-built suggestive reports are the special features

Usability

This is my overall rating and this includes the tool's capabilities to handle large data and connectivity with ease. Also, the built-in analytical functions and features are very helpful in creating an ecosystem of reports for every need of the organization. The security features are second to none and it helps to keep roles and responsibilities sorted. The Predictive analysis is made easy by giving integration with Python and R

Support Rating

I haven't been able to test the support of SAC. However, based on the fellow developer's opinion I can say it's pretty good. The support team gets ample ways to communicate and report the problems and gets solutions or sometimes suggestions accordingly. This has been very helpful in resolving regular problems that may have arisen while using the tool

Likelihood to Recommend

SAC is excellent when the data source is SAP bases and the report performance is very good because of fast connectivity to native applications. Its built-in feature of Geo maps makes drill down and drill across a bliss. Have been using this widely for financial reporting which contains complex data and building very informative and user friendly intuitive reports is an easy job in this Also one thing it can improve is to provide connectivity to non-Native data sources (other than SAP)
