Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We have been using legacy applications for the past few decades. Legacy applications built on Mainframe are costly to maintain and develop. We switched to SAP [Analytics Cloud] recently. The Time to Market has greatly improved, and we are able to define reports with complex algorithms easily. SAP Analytics Cloud provides great flexibility in identifying our areas of interest and in [the] overall vision of the company.

Tableau Server and Qlik Sense

SAP Analytics Cloud runs jobs and provides reports quickly. Other competitors take more time to generate [the] same reports with similar logic. The visualization features in SAP Analytics Cloud are superior when compared to Qlik Sense. In areas like DevOps, this gives a greater advantage on a day-to-day basis.

We are happy with the product's features and its real-time usage. However, there are still some areas where improvements could be made, and additional features could be added. Also, the cost of the product could be reduced to match with its competitors. Legacy technology support could be added.

Support Rating

The support provided for SAP Analytics Cloud is amazing. The manual is well written and organized with sections of data. Whenever we had issues, 90% [of the time], we were able to read through the online manual/documentation to resolve the issues. The product support team [was] dedicated, polite, and swift in supporting our problems and resolving them.

Likelihood to Recommend

It is well suited for generating reports and data visualization points on huge volumes of data. It processes the data very quickly on complicated rules that are defined. It is not appropriate for small teams or organizations as the license cost is costly, and teams look for much cheaper options due to budget constraints.
