Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use SAP Analytics Cloud to run some of financial reports where it can be published to our team and leadership for progress and status. As a cloud solution, it easy to access and operate with consistent training provide to understand and operate. Plus, there is less issue with installing application on to our laptop.

The menu is well organized for our team to use.

Usability

Overall, the SAP Analytics Cloud is a better solution with our ad-hoc reporting from on-premise system which sometime resulted in timed-out session where I have to restart everything. We encounter other system issue with our network to our laptop which cause delay in running reports to publish on a timely manner.

The SAP Analytics Cloud was one of our required solutions for users to be able to access the system without installing any application. We want our users to be able to access, make changes and record transaction in real-time for the time saving and efficiency for our team and organization.

SAP Analytics Cloud stacks up better the other solution that we were able to use and operate for our team. The cloud solution enable our users to access the system once their roles and access were provisioned. We are able to run standard and customized reports to serve our purposes.

I believe some of the roles design for our team are not quite clear and sometime a user could have elevated access to run the financial statement such as the Profit & Loss statement to see globally which could provide a risk and harm if the user was to leak the information to the public.
