Overall Satisfaction with SAP Ariba Procurement
We use it for everything from downloading our payslips to paying students, expense reports, and purchase requisitions. Since the system SAP/Ariba has been introduced into our system, productivity has been extremely reduced. As professors, we need to spend days figuring out how to submit an expense report or a purchase requisition. As an example, a software I was supposed to buy in Dec. 2021 is not still paid for after multiple approvals and emails back and forth.

- Another example is the submission of my expense reports. They are rejected due to some technical error that even our administrators cannot resolve.
- Another problem is when an expense stays in the system without being routed properly for approval and processing without the user being alerted.
- I don't know about my organization but for me, there is nothing that is important with this system at the time being.
- Some of my colleagues expect that things may get better. But I do not think a system that is not even operational after six months has any chance of getting better.
- I do not know what the administration thinks of ROI in this case. However, personally, I have lost more than the value of all my purchases and requisition in terms of time spent.
We had a legacy system that worked well without the time-consuming and most often unsolvable issues with the Ariba system.
