We use SAP Build Apps to build prototypes for possible app development requirements.
- It can be used to develop desktop, web-based, and mobile applications
- Its a no code tool so requires no programming skills
- It provides an unified development experience allowing us to build apps faster and automate processes efficiently
- It is not possible to create SAPUI5/Fiori like app prototypes
- Sometimes not suitable for very complex requirements
- Not available on BTP Free Trial account
- Lower costs for development and automation
- Very easy to use
- Integrates existing applications with pre-built APIs, components, and templates for SAP and non-SAP applications
Using SAP Build we can integrate applications with pre-built APIs, components, and templates for SAP and non-SAP applications. It is very useful when we want to build UI on top of our existing APIs.
With SAP Build Process Automation, we can model business processes, link them to other systems, and automate them with the help of integrated artificial intelligence. For example - Google Workspace is already integrated and allows automation in connection with Google Calendar or Google Drive
Mendix and Neptune also provides platform when apps can be created efficiently without have any prior programming skills but SAP Build Process Automation is where SAP excels.
