Overall Satisfaction with SAP Build

We use SAP Build to develop Fiori Apps and SAP Build Process Automation workflow apps. We have our citizen developers use it to build apps using drag and drop functionality.

  • It becomes expensive to provide this SAP build functionality to all the business users.
  • Business users can turn around ideas into apps very quickly
  • Need some training to get the hang of the low code app development
We built apps integrating with SAP S/4 Rise and it makes it very easy to trigger workflows based on event in S/4 and auto detect Order issues and pricing issues.
The workflow apps that we built helped reduce cost and save time in handling order issues and pricing issues.
It enabled all our business users to turn their ideas into apps at a faster pace with less dependency on the development team.

Using SAP Build

12 - I manage ABAP and BTP development teams. So we cover all the business functions in SAP.
12 - Most of the SAP build developers are previous Java and UI5 developers.

  • It would be great if build can import existing SAP UI5 apps and transform them into build framework.
Developing with SAP build is very easy and reduces code issues as you get real time feedback.
