Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We have developed an Invoice Processing application using SAP Build Process automation for our finance department for Internet bill reimbursement for our employees. We have used SAP Build Process Automation and integrated it with our RPA bots to automatically extract data from invoices and initiate an approval workflow based on our pre-defined business rules.

Pros

In our organisation SAP Build automation helped us in extracting details from a invoice. Like when a vendor invoice is received as a low-resolution PDF. The D.I.E. service automatically scans and extracts the Vendor Name, Invoice Date, Gross Amount, and, critically, the multiple line items (description, quantity, unit price, tax codes.

Integrating with non-SAP systems is a challenge for customer who use SAP Build for the first time

Very flexible to build the web applications for any custom landscapes.
Dependency on senior resources or more resources for developing the critical application is no longer a challenge.
Creating custom workflow using Process automation workflow is very quick and easy

Integration with SAP Software

Yes we have integrated SAP Build with SAP CLOUD ALM application. It is very useful and infact benefited us in quickly deploying the planned changes in production, using Process automation workflow Managers were able to track the changes and approve them on time without any delay.

Workflow and Automation

We have configured SAP Build's workflow and automation while integrating it with our SAP CLOUD ALM application especially in the project planning and setup functionality. Where we have created a custom workflow using the SAP Build workflow and when a resource change the status of this change (feature) in SAP CLOUD ALM for manager approval and it triggers automated request to the mentioned managers in the workflow for approval or rejection. And this helped us in easily tracking and getting the approvals for the planned production changes on time.

Usability

We have used this SAP Build low cide drag and drop interface with SAP Build Apps visual editor to create a simple mobile-responsive interface
1.Drag-and-Drag-and-Drop two "Input Field" components.
2. Drop a "Title" component onto the canvas.
