Overall Satisfaction with SAP Business Network
We are using the SBN as a supplier to connect with our buyers across multiple geographies.
At the same time we are using the SAP Ariba Portal solution to integrate with some of our suppliers.

- Account management - too many "rogue" accounts are created
- Discovery - Network catalogues are a nice feature but should be better controllable in regard to reach - as we are not allowed to sell everything to everyone..
- Full end to end integrated buyers (PO to invoice) have improved payment times - they pay on average 8 days earlier than comparable non integrated customers
- Speed of delivery - integrated orders are booked in less than 5 minutes - manually entered orders can take up to 3 hours and more
As a supplier we follow our customers on the various procurement solutions - so the SAP Business Network is a necessity but at the same time a speed up fact to delivery. As user on the Supplier Portal we drive better integration and faster connection to our suppliers.
Can't speak to this question as my team is setting up the technical connections with our suppliers but not doing any actual supply chain work.
As supplier I have a great visiblity in the various connections I have with my buyers and also across various geographies.
We have to follow our buyers on the various networks and procurment systems - SBN stands out because of the ease of work and level of control you have on your buyer integration and documents that are interchanged between us and the buyers
