Overall Satisfaction with SAP Business Technology Platform

Currently we just started growing rapidly in BTP and Fiori Launchpad over BTP.

Pros

  • Launching Fiori
  • Launching Integration Suite
  • Restful programing model

Cons

  • Weak cipher is one of the area it must improve
  • Custom domain to goes rid off the long https:// links
  • SAP business role sync with backend
  • Technology agnostic cloud platform
  • User Interface and configuration can be better
  • Security vulnerability part not very clear
We are in a transformation to go with ERP and its cutting edge business solution and I think BTP gives a platform for this.

One platform for everything and technology agnostic
Old traditional software companies are not update with latest tech stack to make the handshaking with BTP, sometimes I see it might cause some security vulnerability.
