Overall Satisfaction with SAP BusinessObjects Lumira

We have used SAP Lumira for one of the SAP simulations for a diary product company. We have addressed the problem of making inventory and pricing decisions using this tool.

Pros

  • Able to access live data from servers
  • Ability to generate reports instantly
  • Variety of reports are available

Cons

  • Application is heavy and requires more space
The main advantage of SAP Lumira is its ability to connect to the servers quickly and it is more ideal for connecting to SAP. We wanted to connect to the SAP HANA server to analyze the data and we thought Lumira was an ideal choice.
SAP Lumira is well suited for business cases which require analysis of the data and making decisions based on the analysis. Scenarios which have huge volume of data that need to be analyzed are ideal scenarios.
