Overall Satisfaction with SAP Cloud Platform
At this time, we are using it for WEBIDE full stack for UI5/Fiori development as we roll out FIORI apps our Sales, Service, and Warehouse employees to improve their user experience. We are yet to explore other services in the Cloud platform as we look at new requirements/gaps in our current solution.
- It provides a platform that lets customers build new solutions and integrate with on-prem SAP and non-SAP IT investments/capabilities.
- Opex vs Capex.
- Integration with Cloud Connector with on-prem solutions, which takes minutes to set-up for connectivity.
- Licensing and order management. SAP Account management is not up to speed on how the ordering and licensing works. There is a lot of confusion and missing details when customers like to increase seats etc.
- Provide a development platform for UI and Mobile Apps for Developers.
Yes, Cloud connector made the integration easy with on-prem.
Develop FIORI applications to improve the User experience for our current SAP users who hated SAP CRM.
