Overall Satisfaction with SAP Integration Suite

We are an organization which uses on-premise SAP for multiple purposes. Our system is interlinked with a lot of non-SAP systems for data transfer, file transfer, etc. For a few of the requirements, we use SAP Integration Suite in our organization. It is not restricted to any department. It's implemented in whole organization. It is used to integrate SAP on-premise systems and other cloud systems. It handles the users data between customer service and SAP on-premise systems. It also handles the most secure file transfers between multiple organizations in the fastest way by pulling every 5 mins. It also handles the payment-related transactions between SAP and other cloud platform systems.
  • SAP has Cloud Platform Integration(CPI) which is great at fast transactions and quick developments. Secure and easy to integrate with other systems.
  • SAP has Application Programming Interface Management (API M) which can create APIs for Business transactions. It's a backend API which is generated & used to provide developers to create front-end applications.
  • SAP has Alert Notification Service. This can be used to alert the system admins or users if there is any issue in any of the service or interface or integration flow. Based on our requirements, we can alert through a lot of different ways like MS Teams, Slack channels, emails, or all of the above. It can also do an alert to different services if the any of the above services fail as a fail-safe mechanism.
  • More community support is required for a product to excel to its best.
  • SAP API M should support more JS server's Functionality, Swagger API's for better protecting our backend servers.
  • Price for SAP Integration Suite increased and due to this, organisation is not able to afford the developers.
  • If there is an issue, we can fix the issue at the earliest, i.e., in less than 4 hours.
  • Speed of transfer between any systems is reduced by a significant time. (Without SAP Integration Suite: it took us 15 mins for every transfer. With SAP Integration Suite: it took us less than 3 seconds for every transfer.)
  • Speed of deployment, performance, easiest and fastest development and easy to set up the connections and system.
We use SAP Integration Suite to connect with OnPremise Applications and Cloud Applications. Due to this, we are now able to do transactions at the fastest possible. It is easier for development and deployment of Integration at the record time. It also has very good way of debugging as to find out the issue fastest.
We have not used the built-in predictive analytics and machine learning capabilities. But going further we would like to go through the above road and learn more so as to implement them in our platform. It would be of great help for our organization's future. We will need to work on that.
SAP Integration Suite has unique features compared to other platforms. It is easier to set up, develop, design and monitor the flows created in SAP Integration Suite. Compared to other products, SAP Integration Suite has features that stand out like the SAP Integration Suite or the SAP Application Programming Interface. We have on-premise SAP systems which need to be integrated with non-SAP cloud systems. So, for our use case, we had to use SAP Integration Suite and up until now, it has never disappointed us. We haven't even used them completely, but we are planning to in the near future.
Well Suited: Integrating between SAP on-premise systems and SAP Integration Suite applications. Integrating between SAP on-premise systems and other cloud systems. Can create API's using SAP on-premise systems so that we can use these API for the future via Microservices. Less Appropriate: Connections between SAP on-premise & non-SAP on-premise systems (SAP PI/PO System is preferred). Connections between non-SAP cloud platforms. Connections between Business Data Integrations (SAP SDI is preferred).
