Overall Satisfaction with SAP Datasphere

Datasphere is used as a data modelling tool for my organization. DSP is currently used to replace the existing BW solution we have in our landscape. DSP is powerful and contains most of the BW functions. Integration with SAP tools is seamless in Datasphere. I will recommend this for data modelling.

I rate it good for Datasphere because of the continuous enhancements done on the tool by SAP. The tool is rapidly evolving, and most of the BW features are already in the tool. The object store feature is a cool one to use and integrate with third-party systems. Still needs improvements on UX for end users.
SAP BW was the old world tool from on on-prem world. It lacks the cloud tool integration. Very limited scalability option. Even with robust modelling options, AIML scenarios were not possible. It was a tool for the past. Now DSP has evolved and taken over the place of BW in all areas of modelling.

SAP Business Warehouse, SAP BW/4HANA, Informatica B2B Data Exchange (legacy)
A well-suited scenario is where the source is SAP S/4 HANA systems and integration with 3rd party systems is good as well, but there is no integration with ECC systems. Even though they are not the future source system, a basic connection option should be there. We are retaining our BW system because of these limitations.
