Overall Satisfaction with SAP Field Service Management

We are using SAP Field Service Management in order to achieve end-to-end service process in an integrated environment (with SAP Service Cloud). Field Service Management is replacing in our case Resource Scheduler, which is a part of SAP Service Cloud. Field Service Management is giving an improved technician assignment and tracing their routes.

Pros

  • Very good mobile application
  • Advanced technician assignment options
  • AI capabilities
  • Nice development options (business rules)

Cons

  • Configuration steps are sometimes not clear
  • Official Help Portal for FSM should be more detailed
  • Better usability for dispatchers and technicians
  • Faster and more clear service for Customers
  • Increase in revenue from Service
SAP Field Service Management has definitely very nice interface and mobile application. Also thanks to advanced business rules we can automate a lot of processes and many AI functionalities can be used to help dispatchers, technicians and service team in their work. It also has strong integration capabilities (using e.g. SAP CPI or Proaxia Connector).

SAP Field Service Management is a very nice app, it gives the dispatchers clear view of available technicians, their skills, their current location and what is the problem description. Technicians have a very good mobile app where they can proceed with help of service workflow steps to deliver the best customer experience.
