Overall Satisfaction with SAP HANA
SAP HANA is used as core ERP solution. It was implemented as green field deployment covering Manufacturing, Procurement, Sales, Operations, Finance and Planning. Main challenge for that project was improvement in handling and planning of components, control of availability of components and management of production process with focus on proper reporting of steps. Another challenge was visibility of forecast and proper distribution of FG in DC network as per market segments demands.

it is hard to say how much in memory analytics or simply KPI based apps are helping - but HANA by default is bringing summary lines and KPI's as starting point for any active apps handling. This is supposed to be driver for users however we see that most users are repeating a sequence of daily steps regardless of visible checkpoints.
There is no documented changes to classic SAP process that HANA is bringing.
Hana is certainly a newer product in terms of technology and UX is one of the key factors to take advantage of. However, Oracle offers more functions as this solution is longer on market.
