SAP HANA Cloud - Data management/analytics made easy !

The SAP HANA data modeling capabilities are amazing , but its so difficult to understand and get the meaning out of a data model due to the way the diagram is presented to the user . Also , If a user want to get the sql statements out of a data model its not a straight forward task at all. you may need to go through each step in the model and dig it deeper to understand the logic to generate a sql statement . Getting a sql statement automatically out a model really help during data migrations.

Its definitely a big yes , Having in-memory database engine works brilliantly well. Any big enterprise can take leverage of the in memory database to have their large business logics defined and store the outcome of the result in the RAM so the data can be consumed by the user by avoid the DB i/o operation , which results in pulling the report data quickly !

Having the support of these datatypes really help the organization , Considering the fact we are dealing with lots of application with in the org , each application produces different data which could be blob , document and big texts . Having them stored in the database helps a lot for the reporting purpose !

That really helps since to apply heavy business logics there are cases where the org need to move the data to various other application . Having the capability of apply the business logics within the database and model it , Then the reports could be directly connected to that model to get insights out of it .
