Seamless Extension and Tight Integration with the Entire SAP Ecosystem SAP HANA Cloud is purpose-built as the data foundation for S/4HANA Cloud, SAP Analytics Cloud.
Single Source of Truth for Finance + Operations - Universal Journal (ACDOCA table) in HANA Cloud gives real-time P&L.

Cons

SQL Console and Query Formatting auto-format option (Q2 2025) helps readability, but lacks advanced debugging for complex joins or error prediction, making it hard for non-expert users to troubleshoot queries on massive datasets without crashes.
User Interface for Data Modeling (e.g., Calculation Views)Graphical modeling in Business Application Studio is intuitive for SAP pros but overwhelms beginners with nested hierarchies.
