Overall Satisfaction with SAP Master Data Governance

I use SAP Master Data Governance to manage metadata for the company.

Pros

  • Ability to route for approval
  • Ability to maintain multiple types of metadata
  • Ability to customize different approval flows

Cons

  • Screens are different depending if approving from Fiori work inbox vs link in the email
DRM was more simple to manage as a DRM business admin. Less complex, but that can also be due to how downstream systems utilize the metadata.
I am more of an approver, and it is intuitive for the most part. However, the approval navigation can differ depending on the dimension.
