Overall Satisfaction with SAP S/4HANA Cloud

We use SAP S/4HANA Cloud to teach students as a part of their coursework. It is being used in two departments at my organization. It addresses a variety of business problems over a wide range like Procurement of goods, shipping, material management, sales and distribution. It is smooth to use as the people using ranges from various age groups and different work backgrounds.

Pros

  • SAP S/4HANA Cloud is engineered for providing choice of deployment according to our requirement, whether on premise, cloud or hybrid.
  • The UX for SAP S/4HANA Cloud is very easy and friendly to use.
  • Notifications can be sent from anywhere in the system.

Cons

  • The migration to SAP S/4HANA Cloud is tedious.
  • Can implement more AI features.
  • You lose all z-codes when you move to cloud, have to redo everything.
  • Increased automation across the tiers.
  • Minimize accounts receivable days.
  • Centralized platform for all different modules.
It is easy to migrate between different screens within the SAP S/4HANA Cloud system, which makes it easier to manage dependencies, tasks and resolve errors. Also the reporting in SAP S/4HANA Cloud is more reconcilable than any other software. The ease to check the accounts receivable and payable for orders has helped me a lot.
SAP S/4HANA Cloud provides variety of options compared to Azure. Also the consolidation of all different factors in one single system is helpful for people in the organization.

1. Best suited: Organizations where the company is planning to upgrade to a non SAP system or want more features. Reengineering simplifies the process. Also for organizations who want to consolidate different systems into one. 2. Less suited: Shortage of skills in this field and transition from ECC (which has been used for several years now) to SAP S/4HANA Cloud is difficult.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Support

It works well when integrated to other SAP products. Upgrading to SAP S/4HANA Cloud has helped us with time to value. It has made the work process more efficient and easy transition. The real time reporting has improved as compared to previous systems used at my organization. Multi-currency multi-geography options are better in SAP S/4HANA Cloud.
