Overall Satisfaction with SAP S/4HANA Cloud

I am Basis consultant. The issue is with rise with sap we do not get OS access. so SAP S/4HANA Cloud keeps all control and charge for unnecessary things. So we have seen some customers migrating back to on premise. And also if we create critical incident it takes time to get response and causing business loss.

Pros

  • SAP S/4HANA Cloud is very fast.
  • In-memory feature makes SAP S/4HANA Cloud fast and reliable
  • Backup of SAP S/4HANA Cloud is easy and consistent.
  • Migration to cloud is easy as we get vanilla system already installed it and it reduces efforts.

Cons

  • First is give os control to either customer or SAP Partners.
  • During migration post steps SAP takes lot of time and that can be reduce.. specially for non prod system they take 4 days
  • After migration lot of new features we can get.
  • SAP S/4HANA Cloud is much quicker then traditional ERP
  • SAP S/4HANA Cloud is advantage in terms of speed and reliability
As a admin we enjoy SAP S/4HANA Cloud database and it makes easy to do refresh activity. SAP S/4HANA Cloud's HA setup is very much efficient. SAP S/4HANA Cloud backup is reliable and it takes few min for big database even restore is very fast and reliable. User have very good experience with fiori environment as well. It makes user experience user friendly.
Our customers are using SAP since long and they are aware of the SAP Products. And for basis consultant it is same for ABAP environment and even SAP S/4HANA Cloud database level administrator is easy. For SAP functional and developer it makes easy to adapt as we were using traditional SAP. other factor is reliable cloud environment which reduces infra level task effort less and easy.
Oracle is complicated and difficult and complex to maintain where as SAP S/4HANA Cloud is easy to maintain and user friendly interns of administration.

Oracle Database, Microsoft SQL Server, Jira Service Management (Jira Service Desk)
We have one customer where they have GCP cloud with SAP S/4HANA Cloud.. here we have OS access as well as partner. So we can manage all the things. And customers are happy with service... They were in HEC environment earlier and very much dissatisfied with SAP services and with HEC team
