Overall Satisfaction with SAP S/4HANA Cloud

SAP S/4HANA Cloud is our ERP, we use it for logistics, supply chain, production, sales, distribution, maintenance, finance, payroll, payments. We use it fully integrated to manage the company. The problem we face is that our version has many inherited customizations, we do use the Oil&Gas solution also. The problem we face may times is to have the BI information all in one place.

Pros

  • access form any device
  • fast performance
  • with the RISE version, all infra is managed by SAP (SAS)

Cons

  • Fiori (needs programming)
  • Integration Suite does not support BMC Control-M
  • SAC is pricy
  • BW is pricy
  • since we are in South America, the product is a bit expensive for us
It's a very powerfull well thought tool, complicated it seems at first but it is also customizable.

Cloud solution spares us the maintenance costs
We selected SAP Ariba Sourcing because it will simplify the process of sourcing our prime materials and for its native integration with S/4 HANA. We love the fact that we start the process in S/4 then it travels to Ariba, and then it travels back to S/4 as a purchase contract.

I think that with the cloud version you need less local resources to manage all the infra and the backup, its pricy but you can forget about technology updates like buying more memory, mor CPU or disk space. And being able to access anywhere form any device is very conveniento for working at home or on the road.
