Overall Satisfaction with SAP Signavio Process Transformation Suite

We sell Signavio solutions to our customers and utilize Signavio in different parts of the Fujitsu organization to drive business improvement and operational excellence. The whole Signavio solution suite is in use from BPM to process mining, from journey modeling to process governance, from automation to content librariries of best practice processes.

  • Process Intelligence usability needs improvement (compare look & feel to Celonis)
  • License model & pricing makes sales of Signavio difficult to mid-market customers
  • Journey Modeler needs improvement to enable more multidimensional journeys
  • Improved turnaround time (factory shopfloor)
  • Reduced rework
  • Better load balancing
Signavio loses in process mining capability against Celonis in many areas like usability and look and feel. Signavio is superior in its BPM related capabilities against e.g. QPR and MS Visio due to its feature set. Against all of them Signavio has better overall solution suite for business transformation.

Well suited for overall transformation, e.g. to be sold on the side S4HANA transformation since the costs of Signavio are only small
part of the whole cost structure of implementation. Less appropriate as a single solution since the licensing model/costs make it more difficult to make actual business case.

Change management was a major issue with the implementation - As with any project, top management support was focal in our Signavio implementation. With the management, our initial focus was in setting the vision and benefits of upcoming implementation. Finding and engaging core group of Process Owners and other experts as our change agents followed and was seens as a key change management action in our project.
