Overall Satisfaction with SAP SuccessFactors

At the moment we are using for Learning and Performance/Goals.

The LMS has enabled us to standardize globally.

Pros

  • Learning platform is robust
  • Performance and goals platform is very configurable to meet business needs
  • SAP seems to be introducing several types of innovation into the platforms

Cons

  • User experience has an old look/feel
  • Modules are complex and it is confusing about how everything fits together
  • Enabled us to have consistency with respect to learning across multiple geographies
  • Enabled us to have consistency with respect to performance and goals across multiple geographies
There are multiple integration options, although I wish the APIs were a bit more robust
We have used a partner and not SAP
I used the other platforms at a different employer. I think that SAP SuccessFactors needs to put more effort into the user experience and also to have the various components function more like a single platform.

LMS handles the basic learning use case, but it could have potential to be more of an LXP.
