Overall Satisfaction with SAP SuccessFactors HCM

We use the performance module to manage our personal development, we have kept our template simple and straightforward, so the tasks are easy and not time consuming. With the introduction of Gen AI features to help with writing, this is going to be even easier. The process needs to be intuitive when users don't login frequently, there can be months between checkpoints but it really doesn't require training to be able to manage the process.

Pros

  • Continual updates for new features
  • Supporting documentation
  • Customer community

Cons

  • SMS features inbuilt for reminders and communications
  • More mobile capability, many are doing their SF tasks remotely and don't have access to laptops
  • Providing more reporting out of the box (stories)
  • Assists with ensuring staff are continuing to develop where they want.
Some new features seem to add more and more clicks to get to the key place.
Use of gen ai for writing assistance will be helpful

Well suited to workforces where staff are office based, less well suited for highly mobile staff who aren't office-based.
